Our founders bring lighting expertise with their years of experience in lighting design, lighting engineering, LED and dimming systems, as well as commercial real estate development.
Bill Carle
Bill brings over 30 years of experience in the decorative lighting business as a domestic manufacturer with significantly board capabilities to make light fixtures of any size or complexity.
In 1998, Bill launched Stonegate Designs to challenge industry standards and quietly gained traction as a build-to-spec lighting source for the hospitality industry. Stonegate quickly earned the 20th Annual Arts Award for the leading lighting fixture manufacturer in the industry.
While the Stonegate showroom product lines enjoyed success, Bill made the strategic decision to focus instead on the significant growth opportunities in hospitality, multi-family, and public-space lighting.
His responsibilities include managing our design process and domestic manufacturing.
Jeff Kovacs
Jeff brings over 40 years of experience in the decorative lighting business with significant expertise in hospitality lighting spanning 35 years. His previous company was a key manufacturer of portable lighting sold through major US retailers.
He brings significant expertise in commercial lighting and controls that serve as the foundation to a strong understand of lighting control systems, which often interface with our decorative lighting fixtures.
Jeff was instrumental in bringing LED lighting to the hospitality industry with his involvement as far back as since 2006, working with a number of the initial founders of the LED industry.
His responsibilities include managing our design teams and overseas manufacturing.
